Your use of this website and our services is governed by the terms and conditions set forth below. By using this website, and our cleaning services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. You may not use this website and should exit it now if you do not agree with these terms of conditions. Stress Free Clean Services may make changes to this website, including these terms and conditions, at any time without notice. You agree to be bound by the current version of these terms.

We offer flat-rate pricing based on the size of the home, though we reserve the right to adjust the price for fairness if your home is larger or messier than normal. We allow you to adjust our estimate as you see fit to customize your home cleaning service, though it may void parts our guarantee.

For your convenience, Stress Free Clean accepts Visa, MasterCard, or post Cheque. We require a major credit or debit card on file to schedule an appointment
Payment for all cleaning services is due at the time of cleaning unless otherwise arranged with the office.

A $10.00 non-payment fee will be incurred if payment is not made on the scheduled service day.  A $30.00 fee is applied to all NSF cheques. If you use a credit card, your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, after each cleaning.

Tips & Gratuity
Gratuity is not required or expected, but always appreciated. If you do choose to leave, cash is preferable as it will be shared equally by your cleaning team. An occasional note to the team when they really impress you would also be welcomed. In addition, your cleaning team receives bonuses based on your feedback, so please call or drop us a note through our website.

Your Service Agreement states that you agree not to hire any past or present Stress Free Clean Service Team members, for any home-related services that you are introduced to through Stress Free Clean Services.  If you wish to employ a  Team member, our referral fee is $2500 - this is due in full immediately upon employing or using the past / present staff member, regardless of whether the employment is continuous employment or on a contract basis

Stress Free Clean reserve the right to pursue alternate methods of collection if the fee is not paid.


We offer a full service guarantee. This includes a free re-clean of the spots that were missed during your initial cleaning. If you are not satisfied with the re-clean you are entitled to a partial refund.

This guarantee does not necessarily apply if:

> You alerted us to the issue more than 24 hours post-cleaning.

> You were present during the cleaning and approved the work on-site.

> You under-adjusted the original estimate we made through our website or over the phone.

Due to safety concerns, we will not allow our cleaners to move and/or lift heavy items. If you would like us to clean behind large appliances or furniture, please move them prior to our arrival.

We reserve the right to arrive to your home within a 60 minute window of the scheduled cleaning time. For example, if the booking time is 12:00 PM, we may arrive between 11:00 AM and 01:00 PM.

If you would like to give your service team access to your home yourself, please understand that we can only give you an approximate time (ie:  8:30 - 9:00 or 1:00 - 1:30), since many things, such additional client requests or traffic, can affect the best planned schedules.  The best and most efficient way to avoid this is to leave a key with the Stress Free Clean office.

We request that cancellations take place at least 3 days before the time of the home cleaning appointment.

Cancellations or reschedulings not made within 3 days of the cleaning will result in a $50 fee.
Cleaners being denied access to the home at the time of cleaning (due to a customer no-show or lock-out) will result in a $120 fee.

If you would like to terminate your cleaning services, please submit your request to the office in writing.

Since cleaning is a very tailored and personal service, we cannot offer refunds to clients. However, your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not happy with the work, call us within 24 hours and we will come out and re-clean the area at no additional charge.
We do not offer refunds for gift certificate purchases.

Keys & Alarms
Our clients provide us with a key to their home, and we are very vigilant about safeguarding your key.  In order to protect your identity and safety, each key is assigned a coded number and kept in a key safe in our office.   Your key will only be accessed by your service team the day of your scheduled cleaning service and it is returned to the office at day’s end.

We do not return keys by mail or courier – we will only release keys to clients who come in personally to our office and show current government issued photo ID.

For home alarm systems, while we prefer it to be turned off on cleaning day, you can show the service team how to operate it if it is a simple system. Many customers simply set up a guest or a temporary code for our team to use.

We like pets, but please let us know if you have any and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Although it’s not a requirement, unless you have an aggressive pet, we suggest that pets are kept away from the cleaning areas so that we can clean better with fewer distractions and interruptions.

Damage & Loss
Stress Free Clean is fully bonded and insured. Please notify us within 48 hours of the cleaning date and we will make arrangements to have the damaged item repaired or replaced for you.  

Items excluded from liability are; cash, jewelry, one-of-a-kind items or hard to get items; items of sentimental value, art, antiques and electronics unless there is video documentation insurance proof. Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 200% of your one time service fee.

If your keys are lost or miscoded, key replacement costs / locksmith fees will be paid.  

If any invoices remain unpaid, all rights regarding a Damage / Loss claim are waived until the outstanding amount is settled.

Stress Free Clean may consider unpaid invoices of services as a “Payment Settlement Agreement Exchange for Damage or Loss Claim” with the client.

We require 7 days to resolve any and all issues before you post feedback to non- Stress Free Clean Services platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, Google+, Trusted Pros, Home Stars, Yelp and any other revew sites. We work incredibly hard to take care of our clientele and we appreciate that this respect is mutual.
