Yes Stress Free Clean is fully bonded & insured. On top of that our team is screened and a background check is performed to ensure you can rest easy and enjoy the smell of a freshly cleaned home!

Do You Use Eco-Friendly, Safe & Natural Cleaning Products?

At Stress Free Clean, we design our cleaning services to suit your individual needs. Unless otherwise requested, we always use eco-friendly, safe & natural cleaning products. Eco Friendly Cleaning ensures your home is not only clean, but also a healthy environment for everyday life and play for you, your children and pets.

Do I Need To Supply My Own Vacuum Or Cleaning Supplies?

No. You are not required to supply any cleaning products or a vacuum. Each of our cleaners are outfitted with all the supplies needed to clean your home. If, however, you would rather us use your own supplies and/or products, just let us know! We can take customized requests if you would like a certain product used in your home or a specific area(s) of your home.

Do I Have To Sign A Contract?

You never have to sign a contract.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

We require 3 full business days notice if you need to cancel your appointment. This allows us ample time to fill the day. A service fee of $50 will apply if 3 days notice is not received. Less than 3 days notice means that we will not be able to fill that time – as a result, the service team’s earnings decrease. A lack of consistent wages means we cannot keep the most professional and committed staff to clean your home.

How Do I Pay You?

Payment is due upon arrival of your cleaning team. We accept Visa, Master Card, e-transfer and cheques. Please make your cheques payable to Stress Free Clean and insert it in a sealed envelope. Please let us know if you would like us to provide you with envelopes.

Is It Okay To Leave Instructions On A Note?

Of course it is! We believe that good communication is crucial to maintaining a good business relationship. We welcome all feedback, and if there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. You can advise us by e-mail or call.

Do I Need To Be Present While You Clean, Or Can I Issue You A Key?

Because we clean Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. most of our customers aren't home and the vast majority trust us with a key to their home. It is entirely up to you if you are there while we clean or issue us a key. If you should choose to issue a key, be assured that we take every precaution to protect your key. Your key will never be labeled in any identifiable way, and will be locked in our lock box.

What Should I Do Before A Home Cleaning Service?

To make our house cleaning services more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items prior to a visit from our cleaning team.

What Happens If My Cleaning Falls On A Holiday?

We call to reschedule for a more convenient time when house cleanings fall on holidays.

Do I Require A Deep Clean For My Initial Clean?

We recommend a deep cleaning the first time we come to clean your home. This gives us the opportunity to address areas of the house that may have been neglected for a while.

Is The Team Allowed To Receive Tips?

Tips are not expected, however, the teams do appreciate them and are allowed to receive them.

What Should I Do With My Pets During the House Cleaning?

We like pets, but please let us know if you have any and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Although it’s not a requirement, unless you have an aggressive pet, we suggest that pets are kept away from the cleaning areas so that we can clean better with fewer distractions and interruptions.

What Should I Do About My Security/Alarm System on House Cleaning Day?

If you have a security system, please make necessary arrangements to allow us access to your home on your scheduled day. Many customers simply set up a guest or temporary code for our team to use.
